Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

At Quill & Kumo, we offer multiple shipping options to meet your needs:

  • Standard Shipping: 5-7 business days (domestic), 10-15 business days (international)
  • Express Shipping: 2-3 business days (domestic), 5-7 business days (international)
  • Priority Overnight: Available for select locations (contact us for details)

Processing time for all orders is 1-2 business days. Delivery times begin once your order has shipped.

Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to most countries worldwide. During checkout, you'll be able to see if we deliver to your location.

Some fountain pen inks may have shipping restrictions to certain countries due to aviation safety regulations.

Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated based on:

  • Destination country
  • Package weight and dimensions
  • Selected shipping method

Free standard shipping is available for orders over $100 (domestic) or $200 (international).

Order Tracking

All orders include tracking information. You'll receive an email with your tracking number once your order ships.

For premium fountain pens valued over $500, we include signature confirmation for added security.

Customs & Import Fees

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees. These charges vary by country and are not included in your order total.

We declare the full value of all shipments and cannot mark items as "gifts" to avoid fees.

Damaged or Lost Packages

If your stationery items arrive damaged or your package is lost in transit:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery (for damaged items)
  2. Provide photos of the damaged products and packaging
  3. For lost packages, we'll initiate an investigation with the carrier

We insure all shipments and will replace damaged items or reship lost packages at no additional cost.

Special Considerations for Fountain Pens

To ensure your writing instruments arrive safely:

  • All fountain pens are shipped with protective cases
  • Inks are carefully packaged with absorbent materials
  • We recommend storing ink bottles upright upon arrival

During peak seasons (November-January), please allow additional processing and transit time. We'll post holiday shipping deadlines on our homepage.
